Lydstep Farm experienced significant fire damage, leading to a large contract for Certus Construction in the insurance sector. The project involved replacing the entire roof and carrying out internal refurbishments, acting as the principal contractor throughout.
A complex scaffold was erected to protect the building during roof replacement. The internal refurbishment included demolishing and reconstructing much of the first floor.
Key reinstatement works included installing new roof trusses, partitions, doors, central heating system, electrical works, 3 new bathroom suites, hardwood flooring and full decoration.
