Client: Leeds City Council

Contract: Approved list with call off

Duration: 2 years (+2 year extensions)

Scope: Domestic building adaptations

Certus can today announce that we have been selected as an approved contractor to deliver building adaptations across Leeds with Leeds City Council. Our selection involved a rigorous process focusing on our relevant experience, compliance, and technical abilities.

This opportunity marks a significant milestone as Leeds becomes the fourth Yorkshire local authority that Certus will be collaborating with to deliver adaptation works. Our other partnerships include Barnsley CouncilWakefield Council, and North Yorkshire Council.

The projects will be funded by the Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG), a financial assistance program provided by local authorities to support people in making essential adjustments to their homes. The primary aim of the DFG is to enhance accessibility and promote independence by funding alterations such as ramps, stairlift installations, widened doorways, and accessible bathrooms.
